Caesar Pond has nice, thick ice, but it is bumpy as all get-out! We have had many windy days, and as the last batch of snow was getting blown around, it compacted unevenly. This left the ice difficult to walk on, and impossible to skate on. We'll have to wait for more, dare I say it...rain to smooth things over. Or, better yet, a big dump of snow!
