Crazy Weather Update - Heavy Rain
* From Friday morning through Saturday morning
* A widespread 1 to 2 inches of rainfall is expected during this
period, with localized 3 inches or more in the White Mountains
and parts of southwest New Hampshire, as well as Midcoast Maine.
These amounts could lead to isolated nuisance flooding of urban
and low-lying areas. In addition, warm temperatures and runoff
will likely lead to ice break up on rivers, possibly leading to
ice jams and flooding.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
